This Privacy Policy explains how My Dark Stage (ABN 65 238 712 701) (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use mydarkstage.com (the “Site”) and our software DarkStage. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Contact and account details — name and email address, e.g. when you buy a license, start a trial, or contact support.

Purchase information — records of licenses purchased and license keys issued. Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record (see section 3); we do not receive or store full card numbers.

Technical and usage data — such as app version, operating system version, device identifiers used for license activation, and basic Site analytics (e.g. pages visited)
2. How we use your information
We use personal information to:

deliver license keys and provide the Software;

provide customer support;

manage license activation and prevent misuse;

send you essential service messages (e.g. purchase confirmations, updates);

send marketing communications where you have opted in (you can opt out anytime);

3. Payment processing and Merchant of Record
Purchases are processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, MOR TBC. When you buy a license, your payment information is provided to and handled by them under their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of purchase and the information needed to issue and support your license.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We may share personal information with service providers who help us operate, such as our Merchant of Record, email delivery provider, license management provider, and analytics provider. We require them to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Australia (for example in [the United States / EU]). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
6. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law (for example, tax and transaction records).
